Caminar la ciudad, dejarse guiar por la mirada, crear recorridos que permitan recolectar objetos a través de la imagen. Lo ordinario sobrecoge y el espacio trasciende a lo visual. Entre más transito un lugar, más aparecen gestos que hablan de su transformación, de su historia, de su contexto; son objetos que, como esculturas, toman forma dentro de la urbe y lo cotidiano. Recorrer es un ejercicio de observación, mi mirada se desarrolla a partir del potencial escultórico que encuentro en los objetos que llegan a mí como señalamientos y que construyen experiencias sobre la manera en que percibo y habito la ciudad.
Walking through the city, letting yourself be guided by your gaze, creating routes that allows you to collect objects through the image. The ordinary overwhelms and the space transcends the visual. The more I walk around a place, the more gestures appear speaking of its transformation, its history, its context; they are objects that, like sculptures, take shape within the city and the everyday. “Recorrer” is an exercise of observation, my gaze develops from the sculptural potential that I find in the objects that come to me as signs and that build experiences on the way I perceive and inhabit the city.
